Groups Drawn for the X. ITFC World Championship in Budapest
The groups for the X. ITFC World Championship have been drawn, marking another important milestone ahead of the biggest event in the international table football calendar.

The World Championship will take place from 8 to 11 October 2026 in Budapest, Hungary, at the Ludovika Arena, bringing together players from more than a dozen countries to compete across three disciplines: Sectorball, 12 Touch and Chapas.
With the group draw now completed, players know their first opponents and the road towards the World Championship titles is taking shape.

Four days of international table football
The championship will officially open on Thursday, 8 October at 10:00, followed by the first matches of the tournament.
Thursday will focus primarily on the 12 Touch Individual Championship, while Chapas competition will also take place.
On Friday, the main focus will be on the Chapas Individual Championship, alongside matches in Sectorball and 12 Touch.
Saturday will be dominated by the Sectorball Individual Championship, with competitions in the other two disciplines also continuing.
The final day, Sunday, will bring the decisive moments of the championship, with the finals of all three disciplines. The official awards ceremony will begin at 15:30.
More than just a competition
The X. ITFC World Championship is designed to celebrate not only elite competition but the diversity and traditions of table football around the world.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover different forms of the game, including Sectorball, 12 Touch, Chapas and Subbuteo, as well as exhibitions and demonstrations featuring table football traditions from different countries.
A special exhibition will also showcase the history and development of button football, while visitors will have the opportunity to try the games themselves.
Budapest welcomes the world
The championship will bring together players, officials and table football enthusiasts from across the world for four days of competition, friendship and cultural exchange.
For the Hungarian table football community, the event is also a celebration of the country’s long-standing tradition in the sport. Hungary remains one of the leading nations in Sectorball and will be among the teams and players aiming for medals on home soil.
With the groups now decided, the countdown to the first kick-off has entered its final stage.
The tables are ready. The players are ready. Budapest is ready.
