Károly Szathmáry Defends His Title at the 2025 “Top Ten Masters of Hungary”
Memorial tournaments and an outstanding community effort marked a memorable event
The 2025 Top Ten Championship Hungary (Csánki Csaba Memorial Tournament) once again delivered high-quality sectorball and thrilling matches, bringing together the elite of Hungarian table football. The prestigious event concluded with a confident victory by Szathmáry Károly (Váci Forte), who successfully defended his title with dominant and consistent play throughout the competition.
The final standings of the Top Ten Championship were:
- 1st place: Szathmáry Károly (Váci Forte)
- 2nd place: Viktor Lukács (Testvériség–Újpalota SE)
- 3rd place: Tibor Szendrei (DÖKE Komló)
In addition to the Top Ten Championship, several traditional memorial tournaments were held in honor of former greats of Hungarian table football, further enriching the event’s sporting and historical significance.
Földi Pál Memorial Tournament (First Division)
- Winner: Béla Nagy (Hírös ALSE Kecskemét)
- Runner-up: Péter Kovács (Váci Forte)
Simon Sándor Memorial Tournament (Second Division)
- Winner: István Góbi (Hírös ALSE Kecskemét)
- Second place: Antal Magyar (Testvériség–Újpalota SE)
- Third place: Attila Nagy Jr. (Hírös ALSE Kecskemét)
Juhász György Memorial Tournament (Third Division)
- Winner: Ferenc Fejes (Maroslelei SE)
- Second place: Zoltán Najror (ALC KSE Szeged)
- Third place: Lajos Angler (Vasi GE)
Csek Géza Memorial Tournament (Hungarian Cup)
- Winner: Péter Csegezi (Vác ALK)
- Second place: Péter Matkó (DSC-ALE)
- Third place: László Váradi (Benfica–Mundial ’93 FC SE)

- Gábor Kondor, who once again provided excellent prizes for the award ceremony and coordinated the dismantling of the playing area.
