Halisson Carneiro Wins the 3rd Brazilian Sectorball Cup at Corinthians

Last Saturday, January 17, 2026, the table football department of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, in São Paulo, hosted the 3rd Brazilian Sectorball Cup, one of the most important events on the national calendar. The tournament brought together top-level players representing traditional clubs from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina, confirming the strong competitive growth of Sectorball in Brazil.

Rio de Janeiro Retains the Title

The championship title once again went to Rio de Janeiro. After a highly competitive and intense final, Halisson Carneiro, representing Botafogo-RJ, claimed the trophy by defeating his club teammate Robson Marfa, the reigning two-time Brazilian Cup champion.

The technical level of the competition was exceptionally high and featured several elite players, including Carlos Peres (CAMAG-SC), the current Brazilian National Champion, further underlining the prestige of the event.

The Brazilian Table Football Confederation (CBFM) extended its sincere thanks to Sport Club Corinthians Paulista for providing the venue and facilities. Sectorball continues to gain momentum in Brazil in 2026. In July, Santa Catarina will host the Brazilian Championships (Individual and Club competitions). Later in the year, in October, the international spotlight will turn to Budapest, Hungary, where the Sectorball World Championship will take place.
